SUMMARY
Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) tapped us to creative direct and produce their annual block party at the Universal Studios backlot. Our main task was devising the central theme, entertainment and brand partnerships that spoke to their goals for the coming year. The event aimed to raise funds in support of the organization’s mission to empower the health and future of youth and women in South Africa.
Inspired by Universal Pictures’ latest hit, "Twisters," the party featured a range of exciting activities, including a mechanical bull, a DJ Jadaboo set, and plenty of food trucks and drinks. We also filled the space out with brand activations from Alo, Stella Artois, Zen WTR, Counter Culture Coffee, and Cura Lita.
